The two types of conferencing are the multi-party conference and the unsupervised
conference.
Multi-party conference - can include up to eight parties. A maximum of five external parties can be conferenced.
Unsupervised Conference - the conference initiator can exit a conference with two outside parties and leave them in an unsupervised conference. The initiator can re-enter the conference at any time. The STS can automatically terminate the call when both parties hang up, when Loop Supervision is provided by the Telco and enabled in the database. A programmable conference timer disconnects the unsupervised conference if the initiator does not re-enter.

The Caller ID will display number or name & number, depending on the service from your telco.

The In-Skin VM (I'm assuming you're asking about the "Flash" version) has been very reliable for the several customers for whom I've installed it.

In-Skin is very reliable. There is a FLASH upgrade for it direct from Vodavi. Its good to do for when the voicemail gets busy. Other than that its good. I wish I could say the same about the KSU. But as long as the system is properly initialized and programmed by laptop, you cant go wrong. Its when you program through a phone and you have and LCOB in there that you could experience problems with Call Forwarding Off-Net like to a cell phone or hoem phone. Also, the UCD groups cant be CFNA to voicemail. Overall, its a great phone system!

RLuna, what do you mean by "the UCD groups can't be CFNA to voicemail." You can forward the calls to a station, including one of the voice mail ports. Is there something special you are trying to do?

you need a button programmed to see name and number at the same time. Data base lets you specify which is shown in normal mode.
