Vodavi has had an interesting history--manufacturing equipment for a lot of different companies--Northcom, Executone, CTC or G(Canadian Telephone Company or Group), Isoetec just to name a few. It really wasn't until relatively later that Vodavi started with their own label. About 5 years ago I went 'round & 'round with a secondary market company that kept sending me an Executone or Isoetec card for a Vodavi digital 2856. The card looked identical and may have had the same number--but the pins were different and would not fit in the Vodavi Cabinet. I kept teling him he had the wrong card. I finally had to trace the old card's outline with the card that he kept sending --and fax the drawings to him to show him what the deal was. Any way---that's one reason why things can get a bit confusing sometimes.
