Well this product really seemed to turn into the biggest flop I've ever seen. Thank God the latest card to grenade was purchased by the end user last year, he just had us install it. Of the 5 cards we installed before dropping the STS as a low cost option to our customer's, each one has failed. I have to say Vodavi has been very gracious in regards to sending out free replacements.. Anyway I digress. Of course the customer who buys his stuff on eBay has to eat it, when it comes time for replacement, hehe.
Ok, question I set up a CCR Menu where pressing 2, 4 or 5 sends the caller direct to STA 107, well everytime someone presses 4, only in this main CCR menu, the systems comes back with, "you have dialed too few digits". Works fine on digit 2, and digit 5, no go on digit 4. What gives? Thanks

I stopped selling the STS too. It seems to be OK until you put the voicemail in it.

well by default in the pbx integration screen Digit 4 is dial by name you can change that but if you don't no matter what you put in there it still see's it as a dial by name digit. let me know if that helps

When the dial Dial by name function is enabled "4" is dedicated to activate it. Check that out and make sure you set First digit permission to No for #4. As far as the quality of the STS, I've installed probably 15-20 or so at this point and have had only one KSU failure which Vodavi proptly replaced. While the inskin has it's shortcomings on features, I think it performs really well for for the price and what is was designed to be. You can't pay for a yugo and expect it to outrun a porsche. For our market at least, the inskin has let us install a basic VM for our customers who would have noramlly forgone the VM option due to cost. If I called the shots around here, I would almost be willing to sell the inskin card at cost just to get the increased service call revenue of changes VM always seem to generate.

You can go into the Integration screen and where it says dial by name digit hit f4 to delete the entry. that should take care of it for you

Help!!! We are trying to use the dial by name directory by using the 4 and it says you have dialed too few digits, are we supposed to set the 4 to be disabled in order to use this feature???
