Newbie here.

I need to know how to program two phones I purchased off of ebay to work on already existing (or were existing) stations.

Environment: Vodavi Mach I
Phone: Infinite IN9015-71

Two phones had ext. 114 and 104. Those phones somehow "died" I was not here when it happend a few months ago.

I have purchased two of the exact same phones (Infinite IN9015-71 (24 button w/ LCD)) to replace the dead ones.

How can I program them to work as the correct stations?

When I plug in the new phone it displays "DKTU24-D GSPD V2.0B"

Thanks a million to anyone who can help. I am in the process of purchasing the install manuals and maintenance manuals on ebay. [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]

First, it sounds like the station lock is enabled, go into flash 06 button 8 and disable this. then plug the phone in, it will come up, but the keys will be defaulted - you will need to reprogram the keys

thanks for the reply! I will try that when I get home.

question: I have a station 110 phone that was originally in one room, and I moved it to the other office where we needed a phone. it rings as station 104. I didn't do any 636 then an extension or anything.

On the Mach I are stations determined by the jack or the phone itself?

thanks in advance. i am eagerly awaiting my manuals.

EDIT: newbie question: flash-ing...does that mean hit the Flash button, then 0-6, then 8 on the numeric keys? and i assume i do all this from the "administrative" phone? thanks!

On phone systems, the programming is all in the system, not the phone. The wired extension is where the programming is, not the phone. View your system like a computer and the telephones are your keyboards/monitors.

Paul,

Thanks for the reply! So once I disable the feature that was mentioned above, when I plug in the new phone to the extension 104, it should become extension 104.

Thank You!

how do i get into this "flash XX" to program something?

UPDATE: I have made some headway. I have discovered that if i plug my new 24 button phone into an existing 24 button phone port, the new phone works great!

If I plug my new 24 button phone into a port that currently has a 12 button phone it functions as a 12 button phone instead of a 24 button phone.

How do I fix that?
