We have a STS system and would like to know if this is possible.
Label Station 150-157 so it displays voicemail or something different like the other stations when programed.
Also I have a phone that does not ring when when any incoming calls come in only when you transfer to it. I would like a button so that I can add it to the ring group or something simular.
Also I have a dedicated fax line and fax server, but sometimes we get faxes on our voice lines and in programing I see that it supports fax detection but not alot of information on setup.
And last I have hyperterminal setup to connect to VM and when I choose mailbox setup it loads the page then scrolls up one line and I can not access or change the first mailbox. I have my terminal on ansi and 9600 8-n-1 none.
Thanks Jason

I believe that you will need WIN DBA programming software in order to name the extensions since there's no way to physically access the extension ports to name them. Also, this will allow you to address the other programming issues you have.

Ok I think I didn't come out clear on the phone ringing. I know that I can program it to ring that way but I am looking for some kind of flex button that will take that phone out or put it in the ring list. I think the call coverage option sounded like what I wanted but it never worked the way I wanted.
And on the naming the vm ext I tried that in WinDBA but it gave a wierd error that it could not focus on a hidden window.
Thanks

on the phone ringing you can use a 646xxx code. the 646 is the call coverage and the xxx is the station that you want to cover, as far as the windba goes, what version is your phone system and what version is the windba software.
