All calls to the auto shop extension (151) go immediately to VM without ringing the phone. I went to the extension, got to the Automated Attendant (6) extended options on the Main Voice Mail menu, extension settings, and it was set to Unsupervised, which is supposed to immediatley transfer the call to the extension (as I understand it). Any ideas? There is a least one other ext. doing the same thing but I haven't checked it yet.

Is the phone itself set to forward all calls?
Try to reset it:
From the set in question,
First:
On/Off - FWD [to cancel any forwarding]
Then:
On/Off - FWD - 9440 [to set Call Forward, Busy/No Answer]

Its a basic type of set-no LCD screen or extra buttons. I'll take a look for an On/Off or FWD button. Maybe I'll try replacing the set.

OK, I switched sets (2602 to 2801) and no change.I dialed ext 100 and got a pulsing busy tone. I used my usual ext.ID method (call Lacy with the console phone at the library), and it is ext 151. I checked the other phone with the same problem, and it is ext 217. Both extensions go immediatly to VM without ringing.

What is model # of tel/lcd at LACYS extension? If it is not a 3515-71 or 3516-71 Then this is not a STS system period. I still say u have call frd/vm on those extensions.

Schooltech:
With that type of extension numbering range, it still could be any kind of Vodavi system. The phones you are using can work on any system brand, not just a Vodavi. That may be the source of the problem here.
While it's possible for an STS to handle these extension numbering ranges, it's highly unlikely that with those numbers operating on an STS or STSe since 150-157 are voice mail port extensions and you mentioned that 151 is the library. We really need to know what the host system is before we can go any further because if you get an error tone on X100 (the default STS attendant position), it may not be an STS(e).
Just a potential follow-up to your original post....Have you tried just going off-hook at these extensions and dialing 640 to cancel forwarding? That would kill anything in-place and put us back on a level playing field.
There's plenty of knowledge available here to help you, but we need better input. Maybe if you can get us the part number of the KSU from the label near the power cord entry, we will be better-situated to come up with answers.
