Background: On me--I own a small business (two People) installing and maintaining LANs and an occasional telephone system. To date only Panasonic equipment. One of my customers has asked me to maintain their XTS system with 8 COs and 10 exts. I have made some moves and changed some CO rings with no problems. I am now trying to fwd busy/no answer calls on CO # 8 to VM 111. This CO rings on several exts but is only answered at stas 104 and 111.
What I Have tried--I contacted VODAVI tech support and received the following instructions: Tom, "If more than one station is programmed to ring on a co and those stations are forwarded, then that call will not forward. you have to setup co line preset call forward Flash 40, page B, btn 5, preset call forward day destination, btn 14, preset call forward night destination, btn 17, preset call forward special destination and Flash 40, page C, btn's 7, 11, 12 for the preset forward timers and flash 40, page B, btn 6 is the mailbox you want the call to go to".
I programmed the following successively (I think) Flash 40 Page B btn 5; Flash 40page C btns 7,11,12; and Flash 40 Page B btn 6 to mail box 111.
When I tried to program Flash 40 page B btn 14 and 17 I got a fast busy when I tried to save them. I could not find these two instructions in the manual and these Flash 40 btn numbers are not in the programming table E-7 for Flash 40.
I confirmed the information from VODAVI twice and received the same info.
Thanks,
Tom

Tom, You should start by reading the tips on using this forum at the top of the Vodavi page. It looks like you have the right information, you must be missing a step or have some other programming issue which is precluding your change request. Get with a mod for this page, there might be a charge for this level of support. Mark

Tom, Vodavi referred you to features only available in the most recent versions of software. The button 14 and 17 issue is because you don't have the feature package 2 software. You aren't doing anything wrong, and everything else you have done sounds correct for no-answer forwarding.
You'll never get a busy line to forward to your voice mail. I assume that you understand that when a POTS line is busy, it's busy. There's no variation on the misconception that an on-premises voice mail system can answer a busy line. No voice mail and no phone system can answer a busy POTS line.
I can help you with further issues, but my company charges a small fee for in-depth support other than user's guide questions. Send me a PM if you want and I can discuss this further with you.
