Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone can help out on a vm issue. I've installed an inskin HDD VM card into an STS system...was wondering how i can get program it via laptop. Do i require any special software? I tried to go through hyper terminal (STS program manual has instructions how to do it) but with no results. The main screen in hyper terminal is blank and even though i type 'xxxx' nothing happens.
Also, if i wanted to program it through the pbx system, i could, couldn't i? any advice and suggestions are very much appreciated, thanks!

You'll need the In-Skin Admin program to use your laptop. You can program some things through the phone, but not a lot.
Are you sure you're looking at the right voice mail in the manual? It's all laid out under "Hard-Drive Based Voice Mail."

Do you have the right manual? The newer book has the programming info for the HDD version. The original manual only has the programing for the flash-based version.
Both manuals and the InSkins Admin software can be downloaded for Free from the Vodavi website if you have a dealer login ID and password.
