Frustrating problem. I'm am an experienced telephone systems installer (of systems other than Vodavi), and just inherited a customer who has a Vodavi Infinite. That's the extent of what the customer knows about it. So far, the only thing he's asked me to do is to rearrange one CO line button on the telephones. I suspect he has a DVXII, but the button numbering isn't right, and the CO lines are three digit instead of two. And the telephones don't look like the ones in the manual I found. Anyone know of a Vodavi system that has 3-digit CO line numbers? Any other assistance would be awesome. Please email responses as well as posting here. Thanks. matr@bmbtech.com

Did you happen to get a model number from the KSU or one of the phones?
Welcome to the board! Would you kindly complete your profile so we know who we are helping?

The only model number I could come up with was 8003. I didn't check for a model number on the phones.

8003 when googled comes up with the Nortel M8003 single line phone. I can't come up with any model number of Vodavi with that number. Closest I come to a system is 2800. That is a Vodavi Digital 2856 KSU part number. 2830 is the CPU number. The phone part number would be in the 1400 range.

All of Vodavi's systems utilize three digit CO line numbers now. That's the good news. Any STS, XTS, DVX+ or Triad programming manual can be followed. 8003 is just a model number for the cabinet itself, and it's definitely a DVX+2 or 3. Regardless, they all program exactly the same way. If you want, I can PM you the instructions you need to get out of this mess. Just let me know.

If I would have done a search in this forum with 8003---the answer would have been there. Next time I'll not google, but search here.
