What is going to happen to the Vodavi product line, specifically the STSE? Any informed opinions or guesses?
We have only been selling and installing the STS for a short time and I wonder what is going to happen to it. Will Vertical get rid of it? Is it going to compete with one of their existing lines. Are they just going to rename it? Should I be looking for a different system to sell. Inquiring minds want to know!
SO far none of my existing customers seem to know about the Vodavi\Vertical buyout but I could hear from one and what can I tell them?

As of this moment the word from Vertical management is that Vodavi will carry on as before as far as product lines and offerings. It wouldn't surprise me to see the name Vodavi fade away and the products labled Vertical.

I cannot imagine them doing anything with the STSe product line. It's their most successful product in the company's history. There will be a blending of Comdial and Vodavi products coming with their "Wave" system. Both manufacturer's phones will be supported, but that's not due out completely until the end of the year at best. Other than that, it's pretty much business as usual.

I agree with RBF and Ed. At a recent dealer meeting, Vertical's second in command said that as long as Vodavi Dealers are selling the XTS and the STS they will continue to make it.
