We use an Avaya Definity using a TN793b Circuit pack to supply our analog lines to our Vodavi STSe's Have never had a problem doing this up untill we got a few New Vodavi system in with the Rev 1.3 LCOB.. Now useing the same set up we have always used if we call the ext from an outside line lines 5 thru 8 will not ring on the station. If we call thenm from inside our network using our 4 digit dial plan it will ring fine. We went around and looked and the systems that are working fine have rev 1.5 LCOB cards in them. We have flashed the software to version 1.02 on ksu. no help.. the only way we have been able to get lines 8 thru 10 to actually ring is if we use a TN746b circuit pack in our definity swithc. Only problem with this is the TN746b does not support Caller ID only the TN793b does.. Anyone have any Idea's?? Any help would be great. Pretty much at a loss here. We have tried evertyhing we can think of

I'm assuming that the Definity is using a different ring cadence for internal and external calls, and the Vodavi doesn't like the external cadence, correct?
Have you tried adjusting the "CO Ring Detect Timer" in F01, B11?

Tom
You may have to go with the the 1.5 Lcob's. I dont know why they upgraded from rev 1.3 to rev. 1.5, but you said 1.5 rev is working ok for you. May want to call Tech support and they could tell you the difference in revisions.

This change in card type came out in MARCH 2006. Cant help on right or wrong Revision numbers or there order of sequence.
