Hello

I am new here. I have a STS and a analog dispatch voice mail. I noted that the system date and time is bad and updated it. Messages lost and attemptd to recover them. Vodavi tech support had me reginit and thereafter the stations did not get a light for voicemail nor did it display the message counts. Codes 420 and 421 and 422 work to turn light on and clear light. One port is bad #5 so msgman was put on port 6 and on port 4 but still did not work. Something else in the register is not set right and we cant find it. Have you ever had this issue

thanks

Put a digit grabber on the port you are using to set MW and make sure it really is sending the MW code. If it is and it still doesn't work place a pause before the MW string.

Of course I assume you have the port used for MW programmed in flash 65.

I have a large number of STS systems with the analog Dispatch with few problems.

First of all thhanks for your reply. Yes the system was sending messages fine. After a reboot and date time checnge it stopped. The voie mail has a bad port becuse its always fast busy so we put the MSGMAN on port 4 and Xsiam on port 5 as that was the fix last time we had this but no such luck now. Dont have a degi grabber but I hear it send the tones and I watched them in debug also I can lite the port from a but set. Something in the registery of the vm is the issue. I plugged in the in-skin HDD and it works fine. Cant figure it out
