Has anyone gotten one of these to work ? I have 2 networks in my office. One is on TWC ( Roadrunner ) and the other is Alltel ( Windstream DSL ). I tried putting the Xcelerator on the DSL since I have a useable static IP address. I have one phone on it. On the other network ( Roadrunner ) I have 1 IP 2007 Phone on it . I am trying to have the two phones communicate. I was on the phone with Vertical for over 4 hours yesterday and it still won't work. They thought the problem originally that the DSL modem was trying to assign the xcelerator an ip address, so they had me program the modem as "passthrough". It still wouldn't work, however I could get out to the internet. My routing address ends in .141 and my useable is .142 . For some reason, you can get into the Xcelerator remotely from either address. Vertical says this isn't right and they think the carrier is passing the .141 on to the Xcelerator and that it is conflicting with the .142. I am calling the carrier today to troubleshoot further, but in the meantime , any ideas ?

I gave up on it and will wait for the SBX to come out. However I did speak to one of my competitors that had the same exact problem and they finally found that upgrading the phones solved the problem. I had the original XIP system and phones and only upgraded the XIP unit. Gee, I should have upgraded the phones as well I suppose.

I don't know what we have upgraded or not but if anyone is interested we have two XIP systems with I believe six or eight phones I'm not sure how many they have in the other office. But we decided we will never sell them in this area if anyone is looking for a couple or phones.
