We have a system of aobut 3 or 4 years old and all the phones have went dead, it happened before but came back on. I check the service coming into the building and we get a dial tone. I am at a lost of what to do next.

First does the phone system do anything?
Can you call station to station?
If yes, cycle the power to the Ksu.
Check everything again, if it works now
consider power conditioning or a UPS.
If not then post back and we can suggest other things to try.

Thanks you for the welcome, we can't call from stations to station and the phones don't even have the date and time

Double check the small power switch on the left side of the cabinet. Someone may have bumped it, which is not hard to do. There's also a main power fuse that may have blown. It definitely sounds like a power-related issue.

Also, if there is a battery backup or UPS, remove it from the equation and plug the phone system directly into the wall outlet. When a UPS fails, no power gets through it.

If you have something on the display of each phone like a code but no date and time then the system will need to be reinitialized.
