I have a STS (Not e) that I manage and in the progress of linking it to a VoIP PBX via a few SLT ports. They just want to give the VoIP PBX the option to call the Vodavi thru a SLT station port.
Its working fine but my problem is when the VoIP card dials and extention (say 101), there is no ringback sent to the SLT line. There is a brief "Beep-Beep" but thats it. Then the digital station rings, rings, rings, but never hits Voicemail nor does it provide ringback.
I don't have MoH hooked up (Trying to wire that to a PC for over a year but don't think the impedance is correct as the volumne is VERY low.) so don't know if I'm suppose to be hearing MoH.
Anyhow, if anyone has any ideas of the flash codes etc... to get ring back I would be much appreciative! This has been driving me nuts for months now!

OMG. I'm so mad but happy. I have been having this problem for literally probably 6 months and just too lazy to try and fix it. So for the last several hours I was going thru feature codes.
However, I think I just found the problem. The switch on the sets but be set to Handsfree or whatever that means. The H, T, P switch I'm talking about.
I just prefixed my SLT dialing with 6#<Station Number> and now it works! I found that in the program/ops guide and it's the calling station tone mode override.
Anyhow, just thought I would update the forum however this seems to be working now!

The preface of 6# is the better option. This way, users on the STS can still retain their handsfree answer on intercom capabilities.
