I have a user on an XTS system ver 2.20 with a 12 button phone. The phone seems to be stuck in DND, if you try to call her the call goes straight to vm. The DND key is not lit, pressing the DND does nothing, dialing DND code does nothing. What am I missing?

Could the phone be forwarded directly to voice mail? Have them try dialing 640 on the dial pad without lifting the handset. If a confirmation tone is heard, that was the problem.

If that doesnt work then unplug the phone and reprogram that station using flash 50 page b button 1. Just hit 1 hold. Then plug phone back in. That should reset that port. Any special flex button programming will have to be reprogrammed as well.

ok...640 didn't work, 662 didn't work. Had the user unplug the phone, changed type, put it back to 12 btn, programmed all the keys. Calls to that phone still go straight to vm ???

Does this occur on internal calls or is it when the call is first answered by the auto attendant?
You may also want to check on a little-known feature code that frequently gets activated inadvertently. 644 toggles the "out of office" feature on and off which effectively places the station in do not disturb.

It is happening on internal/external calls that and calls transferred from the operator.I ended up removing all forwarding when busy and now I am able to call the ext. I don't believe the user was actually busy everytime I tried to call her. She generallt only takes a few calls a day. I'll check on code 644.
Thanks for all your help...
