I recently had to clear the database on our Vodavi system because it would not boot back up after a long power outage. Everything is working fine except only station 100 rings on incoming calls. I remember having to go to each station to make it ring on incoming calls but I cannot remember the code. The call coverage feature sounds familiar but I don't think I ever assigned a flex button to make this work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Scott: There are SO many different Vodavi systems out there, but most of the current ones share the same general programming. Call coverage is about the only user-programmable feature that will address this. At each phone, press the speed button two times, press any available unused button (I use the one labeled "callback"), then dial 646 + 100. After the confirmation tone, hang up and you are set. Other than that, we can't give out technician-level programming information in the public forums.

We have the 3500-00 KSU with the Starplus STS phones. I tried that out and it works. But before there was no delay, all stations would ring on an incoming call. Is there a way to fix that? If that is technician level programming let me know and I'll look up who we bought the phone system from and see what they can do.
Thank you!

That would be a timer setting and as far as I know you can only do that thru admin programming of the phone, which you need a tech for. If I'm wrong Ed will have the right answer.

No that is the point of call coverage. The primary phone rings first and then covered phones follow. Only way to make them ring all at once is in programming.

Scott:
That definitely falls into technician-level programming, so a visit from the installing company may be in order. It concerns me that your system needed to be defaulted since it isn't old enough to have a failing memory battery. With a good battery, memory should be retained a minimum of a week. I suspect that the DIP switches may not be set correctly.
Your system may be equipped with an optional modem card that allows a technician to access it remotely. Try dialing ext. 499 and see if a modem answers after a ring or two. If so, I'm sure that you can get someone here to take care of this programming for you for a small fee. The original installer may also be willing to do this, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to get a hold of them first.

I must have misunderstood the question I thought he was looking for call coverage with a shortened timer so they ring within a ring or two of the first phone.
