I have a starplus dhs and need to put a external speaker on it for paging. What would I buy and how would I go about setting it up?
And what would be a good vm for this unit or can it be installed on unit?

The option card has a page output. If you don't have a working option card, you can use an available CO port.
The Vodavi Dispatch worked well with the DHS via analog adapters. However, the DHS is getting old and you should look into upgrading to a new system, IMO.

i've always used analog Dispatches or the MiniVoice on DHS systems, but we've only got two or three of 'em still out there.
anther vote for a new system..

Adding a VM onto the DHS will not be an inexpensive job. Another vote for the upgrade.
