Hi,
We have a Vodavi XTS phone system that has 4 analog input cards, that will handle 8 incoming analog lines each(4X8=32 max). We only had 11 analog lines and the Vodavi was programed to only use 11 lines, 2 of the cards were not installed, in stead of the default 16 lines. We have moved to a new location and have 20 analog lines coming in. If we install the 3rd card we have 24 available icoming analog lines. Is it possible to adjust the number of incoming analog lines the Vodavi is expecting fron 24 to 20 using flash on the phone module or must you access the Vodavi through a computer and a RS232 port? The guy that originally programmed the Vodavi is no longer with the company. I am the companys IT guy and I have read the Tech manual on the Vodavi system and can and have programmed the Vodavi system through the flash. Thanks for your input.

Yes, you can program the cards and the lines through flash programming.

Yes the lines 21-24 will need to be put into trunk group 00 under flash 40.

That should make your trunks that area accessible from trunk 001-020.

Hope that helps.
