Hey Guys I'm in need of a little help. Got a used Starplus system (not sure which exact version Model # on sticker says: 3500-00). This system needs to be reset and installed at a clients office. He bought it from someone he knows. I figured out how to reset th system back to defaults, but I need some more help.
1. He is only going to have 2 CO lines, how do I get the phones to default to 2 lines instead of 4. Right now when you press 9 it goes to CO4.
2. Voice Mail: it has a v70 Flash voicemail system in it. how do I reset passwords to defaults and what is default. Then how do I set up Auto attend? (Sorry I know that's big question)
3. Should I try to get a copy of Windba? I know I can hyperterminal just wondering.
Thanks, I'm sure I'll have more questions. I'll be happy to share my networking/ server / asterisk knowledge on the boards.

Yes I do, I have the CD that has the programming manual. BTW I got the VM straightened out. I was able to get in with the Admin pw and reset all the stuff for VM so I should be good there. The main issue at this point is the CO lines.
That manual is crazy man 560 pages, wow.

For unused CO lines you can do this two ways. One is to disable them under CO direction in the index. Or you can disable them from the admin phone dialing 602 and pushing the line button of the line you want disabled. Repeat to reactivate.

ok one more question. I have 5 phones that all have different button assignments. is there any way to take all of them back to factory defaults or am I going to have to reprogram each phone?

You can reset ALL stations back to factory default by using flash 80 and selecting the option to default stations. If you don't want to do that, you should just bite the bullet and manually reprogram them individually.
