Wanderer vs. Ranger?

I have a customer that desires a digital cordless handset on the STSe system FP2.
I have sold a Wanderer in time past but try not to go there any more, are the Rangers any better?
Has any one had any experience with either?
Thanks in advance.
Vinny

Customer: I have a hum on my line?
Tech support: Is it a tune I would recognize, like hum hum on the range......

Vinny, that depends upon what you are looking for. The Wanderer certainly has limitations since it is just a wireless handset for a wired phone. The idea sounds OK, but in reality....

Since the Ranger functions as a completely independent extension with multiple line keys, I'd go that route if I were you. I think that in most cases, this is the functionality that customers are seeking anyway. The range on the Ranger is good, especially with spread spectrum. I'll never understand why they would offer it any other way.

Through the use of call coverage, etc., you can make lots of things happen with the Ranger, where you hands are somewhat tied with the Wanderer.

One thing that our customers have grown to love with the Ranger....

Vibrate instead of ringing (some of our customers have high noise environments).

Edit: Wanderer had a headset jack...just never used it I guess.
