Glad to find this forum, not much around for support on these phone systems, at least that I could find.
Here's the problem I have. We had to reset the phone system and clear out our settings. After restarting our pc was no longer able to connect to the phone system. When trying to use rs232 it comes back with a data communication error. I've also tried connecting via hyper terminal with no luck there either. Can anyone help me out? It's an XTS system if that helps. I can provide more details if needed. Thanks.

Your XTS baud rate was most likely reset back to default. Make sure it matches up with your port settings on the pc and caller id in flash 56 has to be off.

Thanks for the reply. It actually had to do with the phone system itself. The battery was still holding some of the information because I didn't wait long enough to reset the system after I powered it down. Good old user user error.
