Today, I have walked into a strange Vodavi DVX Plus 4 issue. Customer complains that pressing the 9 or 0 does not emit DTMF Tones.
I arrived on-site and to my dismay, When I press 1-8 I hear the DTMF Feedback Tones. When I press 9 or 0, I hear absolutely nothing.
Also makes no difference if I am on a CO line or Intercom call.
If I press the digits 9 or 0, I do not hear any DTMF Tones.
This customer has been in servic=e for more than 10+ years and the system has worked fine, with no problems. There have been no program changes for the past several months.
Anyone have any thoughts or ideas about this?
Able to make and receive calls with no problems.
DID ring to their repsective extensions and outgoing calls work with no problems, as I am still able to make outgoing calls.

I'm very familiar with this. Often, the digit 1 is affected as well. A full system restart should clear it.
In the future, you should activate the system maintenance feature, flash 06, button 24 and leave it running. This will make sure that the system automatically realigns the system highways every few seconds.

Ditto with Ed. Same problem with a DVX+4 years ago.
The FL6 btn 24 feature will resolve issue. Another one of Vodavi's obscure programming btns.
Keep the feature on. It does not degrade performance on phone system.

Phone call made old customer of mine. Not Nev-Com put the DVX+4 he posted about.
