I have worked on the STS systems before but not this one. Looks like it programs pretty much the same but the customer I inherited has no documentation other than the phone guides. Does anyone have the programming docs for the PBX and the VM. How do you adminster the VM? Is there a separate program? Thanks for any help you can provide! son-tel@comcast.net

The programming is almost identical with a few added flash codes in the XTS. Is the Pathfinder a In-Skin pathfinder or a standalone PC? If it's the In-skin version the program is ISAdmin that you use. If it is the stand alone PC on the desktop there should be a MAINT shortcut to administer it.

The Pathfinder is an In-Skin version with the HDD.

Verticalguy,
I must agree with DWFlood's assessment. As Vodavi dealers, we signed a dealer agreement that prevents us from giving out the systems manuals for "dealer-only" equipment, such as the XTS. My understanding was that this was to help protect the product from being serviced by non-dealers. This should have carried over to Vertical when they purchased Vodavi, since our contracts were suppose to be honored.
Since you are a Vertical employee, do you think it helps the dealers when you place a link to a dealer-only system on a public site such as this? If Vertical wanted everyone to have the XTS manuals, wouldn't they post them on vertical.com?
Vertical has done a lot to alienate the old Vodavi and Comdial dealers. With all due respect, you have not helped.

Verticalguy was just trying to be of help. After all, the link he posted is public information. In some areas, there may not be certified dealers to service a particular product, or the customer may not like the dealer's quality of service.

I realize he was trying to help. But when you work for a manufacturer that has contracts that keep dealers from giving out certain information, it is probably best that you don't provide that information to our competitors, even if he was just giving a link to another site. Make sense?
