Is there a way to force a Dispatch to go out and refresh message waiting lamp status for all mailboxes, or even one at a time?

Thanks!

Justin

Automatically no...manually you would have to create a broadcast mailbox and leave a message in it for it to go out and update the lamps on all phones within the broadcast mailbox.

That's a good idea, thanks! Then would I be able to delete the message from the broadcast box in order to delete the message from all mailboxes?

With the Dispatch, do MWL's get updated at a certain time on a daily basis?

I couldn't find that anywhere in the Registry. Is that a hard-coded time?

Justin

I looked throgh my Excel spreadsheet and do not see any registry item that defines anything for updating the MWI at 3:00am in the moring and I don't recall anything hard coded into the system either that would do what you are requesting.

That is why we used to recommend putting all users into a Group/Broadcast mailbox so that you leave a message and it updates all the users to ON when they check their message and delete the message it will update to OFF.

PM me if you want a copy of the spread sheet.

The registry item is VmMwiResend. Resend the Message Waiting Indicater (AaM-wiSetXXX)

MwCleanDay and VmCleanTime will also update the mw light but not as often only once a week.
