I have a customer who has a pri installed for 3 years on an xts system. I am using the older pri card not the combo card. The local telco recently switched their circuit to a soft switch and now they are losing their outbound calling periodically. The pri worked flawlessly until this switch and the telco is (as usual) pointing their finger at us. the symptoms are dial 9 dial tone, dial number and silence. This will be like this for an hour or so and then outbound service will restore. They will call out fine for a few hours then same problem. I have not had any reports on incoming issues. This is also a fractional pri 14 channels voice. Any suggestions?

It is a well known problem that the xts pri card, old or new will not be stable on a soft switch. I would look for a different carrier.
