I posted this in VM, I figured I would try this board as well.
I have a key voice corporate that I support in a hotel, the problem we are having after rebuilding the PBX from scratch. When calls directed to any ext that forwards to voice mail, the voice mail will answer and starts with " you may transfer the call now" then starts with the mailbox greeting. Is there something i am missing in my PBX - in my call forward string I am using the following string 7550*9***9. in the mitel we are sending 7550 hunt group, *9 = Pause 1 sec, *6 = pulse ext # of forwarded device, The ** = send a single * and the last *9 is a 1 sec pause.
When we watch the screen when a forwarded call is sent to VM , we see the port answer, wait for digit and then we see port display xfer bypass and then box greeting.
We want to eliminate the " you may transfer the call now"
Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance
