I have purchased an XTS cabinet to replace my current DVX+III system. I am moving my PRIB, DTIB12 & 24 cards and SLIB board over. IS it possible to use a recent Dbase backup of my Current DVX+III system config and upload it to the XTS in order to save some steps in the initial setup? I know the Dbases are different but perhaps it will take the config info? Thanks in advance for your comments.

how do i get the vodavi xtcs to detect the fax line .. every time i fax out its ok but when i fax in it go to the front desk

The XTS does not have "fax sensing". You have to program the fax line to ring directly to the slt the fax is connected to. This is done in co line programming/ring assignments.

Is there an Infinite based installation and programming manual for the XTS? I was sent a TRIAD based manual with this system when I bought it but the software and phones I will be using are Infinite.

Its the same programming, the look of the phones is the only difference.

Understood, Thanks Derrick. The XTS system came equiped with Software Eng. V1.16 P08-6FF2. Is there a more recent or recommended software version and if so what would that be and can you recommend a good source for purchasing it?

I would upgrade to at least 2.23. You may not get it to upgrade to any later software, because it depends on the mpb. Some older ones do not have enough onboard ram. Vertical/vodavi does not charge for the software, but you will need to get it from an authorized dealer.
