Two questions: I have a button on the phone to use the relay as a door opener. Is there a timer available with this (I checked an on line manual and could not find one) or is it just an on/off? Next: This is a system you guys previously helped me with and I still have a few cleanups. Right now the message light appears on the key and the message button. They want the message lighton the top of the phone to light. In reading the manuals, it says it will do it if I don't have a button programmed for it but no matter what I've tried it will not light. Any ideas? Thanks. JD

For the light on the phone it is a parameter in Flash 50 programming called light control and you would also put a vm (440) button on one of the flexible buttons.

The light on top of the phone is not set by any other way than by programming the light for voice mail. It can be programmed for ringing indication and headset in use but you pick one.
Depending on the sofware in the system the message waiting light is programmed as well to either be a msg (visual message) from another station or a voice mail message light. Both options are changed in flash 50/51 programming.

Thanks. I will give it a shot. Any thoughts on the relay? Is there a program to put it on a timer so that it will shut off after a set time?

I don't think there is a timer for the Relay. If you are using a CO to activate the relay you could probably fool around with the individual CO timing parameters.
