I am looking for a replacement/spare battery for the new V10000 Dect cordless units that have taken place of the Ranger. Does anyone know where I can find one. I dont have much luck when I google for a battery for the V10000. I do not know that number of the battery.

Battery is labeled BT-1009. Nickel Metal Hydride.

Vertical's part number for that is B10000. If you can't locate one, PM me and I'll see what I can do. I know we have one in stock.

The BT-1009 is a common Uniden cordless battery, which should be easy to find. Uniden makes the V10000 for Vertical, and uses the (almost) same cordless for several other manufacturers.
