Did you look into Avaya solution?
Government uses it for a reason.
Easy to find technicians that you will like to work with.

That is strange that you say that, VIT. The federal government around here in Washington, DC buys mostly Nortel and Tone Commander products. At smaller installations, they buy Comdial, Vodavi, Avaya and even a fair amount of Panasonic.

While I can appreciate your allegiance to your company's product line, wasn't your statement a bit far-reaching?

The Deltacomm package will cost you far more in the long run than buying or leasing a quality system and lines from Cox or a cable provider where you are located.

You might want to get a guarantee that the D/C-NEC tech lives nearbye. I'm aware of several D/C installed NEC's in this area, that the customers are VERY unhappy with. A little studying of the NEC manuals reveals that what is wanted is usually possible, but, apparently the ONLY NEC tech D/C has, in the area, is too busy to fix the problem AND clean up the mess left by the sub installers. The company I was working for decided to stay out of it and offer the same deal they did before D/C came upon the scene. Sort of a gentle "I Told You So". John C.

I'm with moretel and grider on this. Upgrade the Nortel to the features you want... far more cost effective and small learning curve for the employees.
