I have a vodavi starplus system I defaulted the system software because I couldn't log in with the basic password. Well now after reloaded by using the sw 1 on the motherboard all I get is a clicking noise and no dialtone on any of the phones. Is there something I'm missing.

You have a Triad-S. The reason that it won't come up is because the memory retention battery is either dead or the battery switch is not turned on.

SW 1 is on. Is there anyway to test the battery?

True, but it has to be tested with the system's power off.
