thanks for the response derrick.
which button would the ring assignment be under flash 40? page a, b, or c?
i tried to copy all the setting from the other line to the new line.
One thing I notice is in page a, button 13, it shows H450A when the other company C has a blank in that button.

okay I found the ring assignment under flash 40 in page A button 10.
It say "Enter DDDR", after inputing it in, would that relate to button 13?

after research, button 10 changes the ring assignment and on button 13 show what the ring assignment is.
can someone tell me what I need to input in button 10 so it show "NONE" in button 13.

sorry for so many response. After doing some additional research, I found what I need to do for ring assignment. I was able to get it to work. Found a manual for the vodavi and read through it.  if anyone wants to know, let me know. Thank you.
