Hi all,
Does anybody have a proven reinitialization
procedure for the STS system. The instructions in
the manual are a bit hit or miss for me and often times I have to try several times to get the system back to default.

Thanking you in advance,
Paul

I don't believe we are allowed to give that type of information in here. If you tell us why you would want/ need to do this, someone may send you a private message. We can't have "disgruntled" employees going around wiping out databases.

I have some funky things going on with an STS such as stations going off hook by themselves etc.
I agree with you that perhaps this shouldn't be public information. Could move this to installers section if you like.

Thanks,
Paul

If you're following the steps in the manual to reinitialize the system there's no reason it shouldn't do just that. I've never had one that wouldn't. We'll see if anyone else has had the problem you discribe.

If the default procedure is not working like it should you may have a faulty power supply. I had a system acting pretty strange a few days ago. Thought it was a bad ram battery but it was the power supply. I swapped out the system.
