I'm drawing a blank on this: Is there a way to turn the AA function "off"? During business hours they prefer to personally answer, if nobody in the shop, they've been using call forward from the telco; I thought about using off-net forwarding to either their cell or home phone (they like to respond 24/7).

If the CO lines are not set to preset forward or to ring directly to the ISVM card, it won't answer them. Off-net forwarding to the cell phone is certainly a good option.
