Does anyone know anything about a small key system, that has " Southwestern Bell Landmark" on the KSU?
I have never seen one before, seems pretty
simple, I will be replacing the existing
4 pots lines with 6 from a channel bank "T1"
I would need to know how to set up ring assignments and direct line key appearance.

Thank you

Rick

I dont know where my manual is anymore from this system but it is really easy to install and program. Just whatever you do dont install a voicemail on it. For some reason the voicemail will kill the programming in the KSU. Guess thats why SWB has quit making systems. You will need to change button programming on all the phones if you want the lines to ring on them.

Do you remember if it is prog. from any phone, and the pswd? usually from there I am okay on most systems that I havent worked on before, but sometimes I find, one wrong keystroke can wipe out all prog.

Thank you
Rick

tel-programmer doesn't carry any Southwestern Bell manuals as there is not a very big demand for them, you may want to try paul144, they won't nickel and dime you to death for each and every manual that goes to the system you want like quick-manuals will.

I was suprised to see that you didn't have the manual, lol. (It is a pretty small one as far as manuals go).
I try to limit the people who I post manual requests to to end-users who would only want one manual. I do have to say that the membership deal that you guys offer has got to be a sweet deal for installers who need more than one manual. We are thinking about trying something similar in the future.
As a side note, I am frankly amazed at the number of these phones that we get in for repair and sell refurbished. There are more of them out there than I thought.
The phones are nice looking and it seems to be a pretty decent system. Does anyone know why SW Bell decided to stop making them instead of working out the flaws in the system to make it more marketable?

Paul,
We use to put in the Freedom Phone systems and that was it, they really didn't make much of an impact out here, at least in our area. I haven't seen one in many-a-year and I have never seen a Landmark at all.
