I don't quite understand the question. Could you be more specific?

The only colors I know about identify where each wire goes when you punch them down.

At my current job I do not punch down, we have another technician who does that, but I am currently working with someone and I will need to do my own punching down,. I beleive the blue on the patch panel is analog. Thanks dexman

This is great, but I still need it in english, any reading materials that I can google..? I just need to make sure I am punching down fax machines and 1140's up correctly. Thank you

If you're using 8pin patch panels for 2 wire analog you'd use pins 4 and 5 which is the white blue pair.

I have never used patch panels for anything other than networking. For phone stuff I punch down on 66 blocks. I've seen patch panels used for phone installs and it looks like crap in my opinion.
