Has anyone had problems with caller Id not showing up through phone system phones but working just fine through analog phones connected directly to dmarc.Atlas phone system is able to recieve fsk or dtmf signal from the central station, neither programing setting make a diffrence. Caller id on this phone system works fine in my office just not at my customers location. We are in the same city(aprox. 1 mile apart) but we do have different prefix.

I have this problem here in my office. The copper lines I have from Verizon when the CID is sent the data tranmitted is not loud enought so the system doesn't see it. I have a Vonage line it work every time. Telrad collected a Log file and wrote software for my system. It has come in handy at several other locations also that had the same issue.

I've never had much of an issue on T1 lines but i've had to play with gains on nearly every POTS line I used. If you have a means to do so you can dial a milliwatt test-tone and see if you are getting good signal through your PBX. This has fixed most CID and Echo issues i've had.

Dont ask me what it is for your area as it can vary and I never remember it anyways.

One of these days i'm going to ask the verizon guy what the number is and write it down on the inside of my bag. It's something like 8988 or 8898 or 8998 or something.
