I am new to Altigen systems. I just brought a system up and have the analog phones (390's) working fine.
When it comes to the IP710 phone, I have it registering and I have the server seeing the extension. But when I try to dial out, pressing 9 does not appear to give me a line. The system is allowing me to dial out on the analog phones, just not this one. On the display I only see time and X410. No other functions seem to indicate it is connected to the server. The time is also off too.
But it always says Register OK and I do see indications the phone is ACTIVE in Altiware. If this is the wrong forum, please direct me to the right one.
Thanks

Are you using pots lines or a PRI. Did you try to dial out using 8 to dial out on the IP phones. Can you dial other phones at the site with your 710 phone.

I discovered that with version 4.5 software on the server the IP710 phones are not compatible. You need at least version 5.0

You got it. You need IP600 phones for Altigen 4.x Also be aware that there are some newer firmwares that are only compatable with Altigen 5.5
