Are we talking about a Rotozip or the oscillating Dremel Multi Max?
I think we're actually talking about three tools here laugh

Anthony just bought one of these
https://www.amazon.com/Dremel-6300-01-120-Volt-Multi-Max-Oscillating/dp/B001FORC9C

which is a "knock off " of this
https://www.fein.de/fein-multimaster/us/en/products/news.html

Micheal is talking about a standard dremmell and the rest about the rotozip

Ive had a rotozip for quit a while and the biggest issue I see is dust

is anyone using the the dust vacuum attachment ?

I looked at it but then I figured by the time I had it all set up I could have cut the hole with the drywall saw and cleaned up

Id like to get the new Dremmel tool

are the blades as expensive as the Fein ?

I know that's been a big complaint about the multimaster

you got me jealous Anthony , Ive wanted the Fein since I first saw it but I just couldn't justify the price

I've read about the dremmell and they had a demo the other day at home depot but I walked the other way (avoid temptation and all )

now I just need to come up with a project to justify it .....

Grout blade came in the set I bought at Lowes.

It was a "clear-out" special, sitting on the clearance rack in the isle.

$140 normally and got it for $99, just missing the accessory case (small attachments/stone grinders). All four large blades, soft carry case, user DVD (still wrapped smile ) and plunge/drywall accessory.

----

Skip, I didn't buy the vacuum accessory... but may, since it IS a dust monster! If you have a spare pair of hands (spouse, children, gullible friends, etc.) have em hold a wet/dry vac by the cutting area.

=----

here's the same set I have

I use a roto zip and yes they make a lot of dust and just a general mess. Drywall I just use a keyhole saw.

Here\'s some nice videos on what the dremel does.

I use my Roto-Zip for cutting LV rings into ceramic tile or FRP/laminate areas; otherwise a drywall saw.
