I have some Lucent 854 and AT&T 854 in my home. We only have one phone line. I was hoping the phones would intercom and page if they were all on the same phone line, but only two do that (they happen to be connected to the same jack with a splitter). All other phones in the house don't hear any of the pages and cannot page anybody else. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Do you have all your pairs connected at a common point? I also believe there is a total cable length for the 854's.

And the I/C calls are on a carrier on line 1. If you are not using line 1 on all phones, that's your first problem. Next, do you have any phones with the same I/C number. That will set off alarms, if the phones 'see' each other. The installation paperwork tells how to change a phone's I/C number. Last, for me, DSL filters will stop the I/C. John C.

Filtering the DSL before the junction point where you tie all of the station cables together might work.
