Hello I have a customer with a Hitachi HCX5000
They are switching carriers on the PRI. The circuit test good with a t-bert but when they plug in to the HCX5000 the carrier does not see the signaling. Does the HCX used any other cable than a straight thru patch cord and is there something different tha NI2 on the HCX.

Any help would be great, I tried to find a manual on this pbx, any clues to where one might get a manual.

Thanks
Stew

You didn't mention who the carriers were but I have found that different carriers can use a reversed pinout. Have you tried reversing the TX and RX pairs?

I'll try that when I go on site. Thanks for the info. The carrier is 1st Communications.
