OK.. i am not sure how this happened and I have just been thrown in to get this fixed. I have a 32 button Dterm i phone connected to a NEAX2000 IPS. The phone seems to think that it is only a 16 button phone. There is one row of one touch keys that can't be programed.

Any idea how I can straighten this out?

Thanks in advance

If the 32 button phone works where another good know working 32 button is working (put your phone where the good one is, see if the other buttons are now working) If the 32 button phone works there, we know the phone is good. If that's the case I'm betting the port (jack) where the problem is, needs to be programmed as a 32 button and not a 16 button. That however is not done or shown in the users guide, it's in system programming. One of these good folks can probably help you with that.

Thank you for the response test-ok. Just to let you know I figured out the problem. I had set the phone model to the 24 button by accident and didn't see it. Some times it just doesn't pay t skip that second cup of coffee in the morning.

Hi. I too have a IPS 2000 and am trying to add a Series I 32 button phone. It works fine as a 16 button but I can not access the other 2 rows. In Matworx32 V6.3.2, I can se the term type to I Series (32) [24] but the "24" limits me to 3 of the 4 rows of buttons to use. How do I create/download a new phone type (if that is what I need to do)?

Thanks.

For the extra buttons you need to assign memory allocation in cm73 & cm94, in most cases you will have the same entry in both.

just a little more ground.

From the sounds of it you are experiencing the same issue I had. If you are using the 32 button i series phone make sure in Matworks you have the station set as a "Series i (32D)[16]". And as the privious poster said make sure you have assigned the memory allocation.

just to clarify, Matworx32 has a graphical button display and assignment capability. I can click on the button depicted on the phone picture and assign the speed dial/extension. I went ahead and allocated memory for the extra buttons, I assume I can hard code using MOC the button assignment. I can click on the last row (using 32 [24]) and the whole row shows selected vs 1 button. Maybe I am doing something wrong ...

you are not doing anything wrong. I set mine as the "(32D) [16]" which means when i click on the graphical interface in Matworx for one of the last two rows ... ALL the buttons in those two rows highlight. For those buttons you can not assign functions through matworks. You can however program those button as extentions or any other funtion directly at the phone station. In my case I have other phone extentions programed into those buttons but I do it directly at the phone station and not throught the MatWorx software.
