On this VM when an incomming DID call comes in their is no greeting heard. But, if you call internally you do get the greeting. Is ther two greetings you need to record? Also, what is the mail box type for longer message length?

Thanks

ok looked in the features & specs manual:

If a DID incoming call is not answered before a time specified in Memory
Block 1-1-07 (Tie Line Delay Ringing Time Selection) (default: ¥, no
timeout), the call can switch to normal Day or Night ringing assignment.

If the number of DID incoming calls is not over the limit, and DID
Forward Station Number for Busy Station or Undefined Digit is active,
forwarding is activated.

Incoming calls on DID lines follow Call Forward and Station Hunting.

lenght of message in mb can be changed in the system programming persay the class of service, or is this achieved through the vm
programming?

In 1-2-22/1-1-22 when i assigned the did to the port dit day/nght, it worked, but the vm dose not pick up accordlingly from outside to in. When I calll insisde to inside vm grabs after 4 rings? did I miss something?

length of the message is controlled by the vm. so you'd have to get into the vm programming for that (cosessions).

1-2-22 is the timer setting for the no answer (system wide setting)

1-1-22 is the did conversion tables. this is where you tell the system what digits you receive will go to a specified station.

here's a list of all the programs dealing with DID's:

Trunk-to-Trunk Group Assignment 3-03
Trunk Type Selection 3-91
