having never done paging on a 2000 i am in need of some help in setting it up.
here's what i've got so far:
free co port. lens 0171
cmd 10-0171=d150
cmd 3000-150=60
cmd 3028-150=00
cmd 200-4=160 (will change this to a 2 digit code later. 4 was set to none)
cmd 3500-60=05
cmd 3502-60=3
cmd 3508-60=3
======================================
i can page by dialing a 4. but after 3-4 seconds i get a fast busy from the system.
speakers are valcom 24v amplified celing speakers connected to the co port and a 24v power supply.
also is there a way to page both internal phone sets (which they do now) & the external speakers at the same time??

The Co port needs a signal to keep it alive, I usually have an amp or page interface that simulates a co interface. Your programming seems correct. The only way to have internal & external @ the same time is to tap off the spkr of an unused station. But w/ that setup there isn't 2 zones, just one. also 3508>60>1

You can use a Valcom V2000A page control that will supply the talk battery that the 2000's loop start trunk needs.
Th only other way you could do it would be to use an E&M trunk interface but that is rather expensive and takes a lot of time to set up.
