I mostly do Siemens/Phonemail only so please bear with me....

1) When I get to the FMS VN banner screen with cosessions I can login to get escape out of the VM application but cannot F2. Are there seperate passwords? How can I reset it if I dont have the password?

2) I accidentally typed some charters on the banner screen. Is there any way I can revert the banner screen to the way it was?

3) How to I load the .vox files off the system with the cosessions. I can get into the file system but dont know what I am looking for?

4) I have a 2 port FMS system, is there any way to upgrade to 4 ports? Where do I buy the key/ hardware needed.

5) Does anyone have the Elite 48 hardware manual??

thankyou!

1>if you can drop out to dos then you can logon. hit f2 then type in the same id/password

2>can't remember off of the top of my head but it goes something like this: drop to dos, exit out of the little menu thing, do a "copy banner.new banner", then do a "vm start" to restart the vm (type what's in the quotes)

3>never done it but nec tells me it can be done. make the vox files, copy them to the vm using cosessions (not really sure where to put them), go to the voice field where you want the imported file, do a f2, copy into field, type in the filename, and it should be there

4>yes...nec dealer, ebay, grey market on the net

you have to logon using the f2

then the username & pasword (if there is one)

then you can use the ctrl-d
ctrl-a
ctrl-s
ctrl-t
or whatever

but not UNTIL you login

All,

To login to FMS voicemail via cosessions:

1) I Press F2
2) I enter NEC
3) I press enter (assiming there is no password)

Nothing happens. I *DONT* get the easymade screen.

To get out to DOS I use NEC for the username and there is no password.

1) Can it the username/password be different to get to the easymade application then DOS?

2) How can I do a password reset?

3) How an I get the the easymade screen. After what I guess is the correct username and password, I only get the banner screen, not the easymade screen.

Thankyou!
