I have recently been asked to take over a fairly new electra elite 48. im looking for which manual would cover it.it has (1)b48-u10ksu with a co18-u10 inslot s3,an identifiable card in s6 that has a flash card mounted on it, and last a r-u1 etu inslot s7. Any direction he list can give me to get up on board quickly would be appreciated. My customer needs sveral more extensions added and some others reprogrammed. thanks in advance

you have the esi8 (8 digital station ports) in the built in slot #1

a coi8 (8 loop start trunks) in slot #3

some sort of voice mail (i'm guessing a fms2/4 or maybe a cms2/4) in slot #6

slot #7 is a mystery to me. maybe an ecr card? if so that is a relay/page zone type card

========================================
if they already have 8 phones then you'll need another esi8

Chris,thanks for the response. I do recall that they have paging so that would explain the relay board in s7.
I have noticed that there are may be different versions of processors how do i verify the software level so i can use the right manual or is it not an issue?

actually 1 zone external paging is built into the cabinet. if you needed up to 3 external zones or ring over page or music over page or door relays or something like that THEN you'd use an ecr card. the card labels are on the front of the card edge. look for esi8-u10 type names.

go to any display phone and do a feature 3. that will tell you the software version of the cpu.

manual versions can be different as long as they are at least the same or above.

as a side note...........on the 48 only certain slots pin out to the amp cables.

ie.slot #7 does not pin out. but slots 1,3-6 do
