We have an old IVS 2000... We just installed an analog door phone and put it on an analog port with ext 249... works great.. set COS so that it can only make ICM calls.
We want to be able to dial a number (extension, virtual number, group number) so that 2-3 stations will ring... first at Reception (200) and then delay ring at two or more other stations... all of these stations will have the ability to activate a door strike release to buzz someone in...
There are times during the day when the Receptionist steps away from her desk... the other extensions don't want to hear the ringing call all of the time, just when Reception does not get it by the 3rd or 4th ring...
I have poured through the manuals and can't figure it out... Please help...
Craig

sounds like the best thing to do is set the reception phone and the other two phones to have the extension in question as a line appearance in cmd 90. set the reception phone to immediate ring (default) and for the other two, set it up to delayed ring (9003). Set the timers for the delay etc in cmd 41. This will allow the phone to ring on the reception phone, and if not ans, then it can ring on the other two phones.
