Hi,
I am trying to add a 13th co line to our system and it does not seem to be recognised byu the system. I connected it to the block under CO 12 rebooted the system, reset the card and did a second intialization to the sytem and it does not seem to pick up the new line. I have my phone set for L13 to use CO 13 but I get no line.

Thanks

is it enabled (set for mf) in 3-92?

also make sure it is in a trunk group (i'm guessing #1 (dial 9)) in 3-03

have you checked ring assignment on this line to make sure that it rings at your station? and from your original post, you do have LK13 assigned as CO13 right? If that's done properly, you should be able to pick-up LK13 as an outgoing trunk, eventhough you don't have it assigned to ring.

Hi,
Yes it looks fine it was set up to scroll so I changed it to CO13 now all I get is ERROR when I press it. I checked for dial tone at the punch down also and it is fine. What is the ussual prcedure for adding a line? Punch it down and then restart the system and it should find it on its own ow am I missing a programming step?

If your system is partitioned for tenants, make sure that the CO13 is assigned to the right tenant. The "ERROR" message makes me believe that your phone is not set-up to access that trunk.

When you dial that CO13's number, does it ring at your station now? or does it ring anywhere in your office at all?
