I've setup 1003 Day Term & Night Term Key Ring. Both overflow 700. In 8007 I've got Default Mbox 001. Schedule Entry #1 has my Day Range. It doesn't matter whether it's day or night I get Mbox 001. Even if I select the Night Mode button from Ext. 300. Any help would be much appreciated. I'm guessing I've either got 1003 or 8007 wrong or incomplete.

Are you changing the time on your system to test ? For example you have 000 playing mon-fri 9-5. Well even if you turn the night mode on and it's only 1 o'clock your still going to get the 000. What are you trying to do exactly, just have day and night menu's???

I just want to have day and night modes. I thought it worked this way by default. What I have now is ALL trunks on Key Term, Day & Night Overflow to 700, ALL on Answer Table 1. Answer Table 1 has default mbox 001. Answer Table 1 has schedule 1 Day Range 9-5 mon-fri. They are complaining that it plays the same message at all times.

Does it matter whether I use 000 for night and 001 for day?

Tonight at 6 PM I attempted to toggle between day and night mode but I would always end up with whatever was the default mbox for Ans Table 1. It did not matter what I had as default mbox for Sched 1 which specified my day range.
Seems like it isn't taking my schedule into consideration, just playing the default mbox for Ans Table 1.

Have you turned on ASO ( answering schedule override) perhaps? Also give details of what you entered in 8007. By default everything points toward 000 day or night. Does not matter which mailbox you use. All you really needed to do was make the default mailbox 001 in 8007 and record instruction msg. 000 would play at specified time of 08:30 start 17:00 end by default. Any other time 001 will play. make sense?

It makes sense. The default mbox is overridden by the schedule. I think my troubleshooting last night may have been skewed by my lack of understanding that I could not toggle the system manually back into day mode. I will go during day time frame and verify I've got it setup per your specs. I really appreciate your taking the time to help.

I'll change the system time and verify the schedule is functioning properly.
